"Event Date" means the scheduled date of the wedding or event.
"Deposit" refers to the upfront payment made by the client to confirm a booking.
2. Services
Wilder Weddings provides bespoke destination wedding planning services, including full-service planning, partial planning, on-the-day coordination, and elopement/micro-wedding planning. All services are tailored to the client’s vision and scope of needs. Services begin upon receipt of a signed contract and deposit.
3. Pricing & Payment
A detailed quote will be provided before any agreement is finalised.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.
Remaining payments are due in accordance with the schedule outlined in your contract.
Late payments may incur fees or result in paused services.
4. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
Clients located in the UK or EU have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of signing, without giving any reason. If you request services to begin within this 14-day period, you must provide written consent, and you may forfeit the right to cancel once work has commenced.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and will take into account any work already completed. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Should the client cancel the event, cancellation fees may apply based on how much planning work has been completed at the time of cancellation.
6. Force Majeure
Wilder Weddings is not liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or extreme weather conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services in such cases.
7. Travel & Accommodation
Travel and accommodation expenses for Wilder Weddings staff may be invoiced separately depending on the location of the wedding. These costs will be communicated in advance where applicable.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely responses, approvals, and decisions to keep the planning process on track. Delays in communication may impact the ability to deliver agreed-upon services.
9. Insurance
Wilder Weddings strongly recommends that clients obtain wedding insurance to protect against venue cancellations, supplier issues, travel disruptions, or unforeseen emergencies.
10. Use of Suppliers
Wilder Weddings recommends trusted local vendors but does not accept liability for the performance of third-party suppliers. Clients are encouraged to review and sign individual contracts with each vendor.
11. Use of Imagery
Wilder Weddings may use images from your wedding day for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before the event.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you are a consumer based in the UK or EU and wish to raise a complaint, you may do so via the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
